Scoring with data
Since 2008, there has been a lasting relationship between the UEFA TEP (Top Executive Program) and Softmedia. The relationship consists of devising, designing and developing various online applications to support the employees and the unions.
UEFA TEP was looking for solutions to make large amounts of financial and operational data more transparent andget a better insight using data visualization. The UEFA Top Executive Program develops analyzes and models to support the directors of the 55 national football associations of UEFA with relevant facts & figures.
Softmedia developed online dashboards based on the supplied data and models to provide insight into complex information with the help of data visualization in a smart and well-organized way. With the applications, the employees of UEFA and the directors of the football associations are proactively facilitated and supported.
The UEFA TEP applications consist of various tools and interactive dashboards. From global overviews to very specific spreadsheets at detail level. With data visualization new connections can be made and comparisons can be made that were not previously possible. Very complicated information is simplified with data visualization and provided to administrators and policymakers. On the basis of new insights, better conclusions can be drawn at the board level and decisions made in a more focused manner.
How are performances compared with neighboring countries, competitors or how does a country perform compared to the European top 5? The online dashboards make it possible to compare data in different ways with the data from other countries. This can be done with pre-defined or custom peer groups. The online dashboards can be focused on subject or performance level, globally or in the smallest detail.
The users of the online application are the directors of the 55 European football associations and employees of UEFA. The rights for user accessibility within the online application can be set at different rights levels.
Based on personal preferences, an up-to-date overview is generated based on the most recent data. Complex information is clearly presented and brought back to the core through data visualization.
